I'm looking for some advice on a Nikon film SLR and lenses I have an opportunity to purchase. At present I'm shooting with my Nikon D50 and am quite comfortable with it. I have an opportunity to make an offer on a Nikon F-401X with the following lenses and flash.
- Nikon AF Nikkor 35-105mm, 1:3.5-4.5
- Nikon AF Nikkor 20mm, 1:2.8
- Flash, Nikon speedlight SB-22

Hi Dave,
My number 1 tip for situations like this is to go on e-bay and used the Advanced Search to look for completed listings. This will give you an idea of how much people have been prepared to pay for the item in the past. So, for the kit you listed, I would suggest the following:
$20 for the camera
$60 for the 35-105 lens
$250 for the 20 mm lens
$20 for the flash
Although I'd suggest you have a search yourself, as I may have got something wrong.
